Default Gourmet Ice Cream Cone Upselling

Hello Folks, I am hoping to get "the scoop" from some ice cream shop owners. I make delicious ice cream cones with cookie dough and various mix-ins (like smores ingredients, salted caramel toffee, etc). My idea is to make shelf-stable flavored cones were available wholesale to ice cream shop owners who then would sell them for $ 1.00 or $ 2.00 upcharge to their customers, is that a viable concept?

Any insight into this concept would really be appreciated from one entrepreneur to another.

1. Suggestions about the size (should I make big jumbo sized or the standard sugar cone size?)

2. Cost / Margin / Upsell pricing thought?

3. Same idea of candy cones but for an edible bowl?

4. I have looked online and do not see any professional suppliers offering this, are there and I am missing them?

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Default Sorry, I don't have any technical advice to give you...

...but I would love to try them. Maybe you could approach a high-end ice cream parlor/chain about working with you to implement this?
